Wedding Bells

I absolutely love, love, LOVE going to weddings! I mean who doesn't? Being able to share one of the most magical days in a couples life is so incredibly beautiful! So, this is what I wore to a close family friends wedding last night. I live in Texas which means it was eighty degrees outside (and it's fifty degrees today, go figure) so I took full advantage of wearing a dress for what will probably be the last time this year :) Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

 I've been lusting over the Tom Ford Black Orchid lipstick but there is no way I can bring myself to spend so much for a color I would only wear for a couple of months so I headed to the drug store and came across Cherry Bomb by Wet & Wild for $2!! It is a matte, deep dark berry and is a complete statement on your lips. Perfect for any upcoming holiday parties! MUAH!

Paint the town red

 One word of advice, if you don't want to be noticed then do not wear red pants! But if you're feeling a little bold then go for it! I honestly don't know how I've gone this long without a pair of bright red pants in my wardrobe. I bought these a couple of days ago at Ross for less than fifteen buck! I absolutely love the color and they are the perfect length for my taller than the average girl height. I hope everyone is having a fabulous Saturday and I'll see in the next post! Enjoy!!

Brunch date

I wonder if its going to be fashion failure to wear mint jeans after labor day this year? If so, I better get more use out of these babies! I've had them in my closet for the past few weeks and this is the first time I've decided to wear them. I wore this to a late Sunday brunch with my husband, the weather is finally down in the double digits (hallelujah!) which has had me day dreaming of the perfect pair of ankle boots, cashmere sweaters and pumpkin pie scented candles.. Fall can't get here fast enough!

Happy Friday ladies and possibly gentlemen :) Is it just me or is there always a little more pep in your step on Friday's? I don't know about you but I live for the weekends.. it's my chance to throw back a couple of margaritas with husband, catch up on some reality TV and most importantly wear whatever the heck I want to wear, take that corporate dress code!

Coral Sunset

I wore this little number on the last night of our beach vacation. It was a nice break from a wet swim suit, bare face and my hair being thrown in a bun. We decided to try out a trendy rooftop restaurant that we had been driving by all week, the atmosphere was excellent and lo and behold we arrived right at sunset. I mean, I love a good sunset just as much as the next girl but a beach sunset, I'm in heaven.
